AIR TRAVEL: Commercial flights daily through Richmond International Airport. Rental cars available or call Motley’s to arrange a shuttle.
REMOVAL: Sale day until 5:00 PM, Saturday, 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Sunday - CLOSED, Monday – Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM. $10.00 Per Day Storage per item after Wednesday.
MOTLEY'S PAYMENT TERMS: Payment is accepted by Cash (Cash Payments Accepted Sale Day Only), Cashier's Check, Wire Transfer, or Visa/MasterCard. No personal or business checks accepted without Bank Letter of Guarantee on Original Bank Letterhead (see sample below). Purchases of $1,000 or less are due sale day. For purchases over $1,000, a 25% deposit or $1,000, whichever is greater, is due sale day with any remaining balance due within 72 Hours (the Monday following the sale by 5 PM). NO EXCEPTIONS! There is a $75/day Late Payment Fee if the outstanding balance is not paid for in full by the close of business on the Monday following the sale.
SAMPLE BANK LETTER OF GUARANTEE: This IRREVOCABLE letter of guarantee will guarantee checks made payable to Motley's Auction & Realty Group is issued to _______________ (customer name) who is a customer of this bank. This bank will guarantee unconditional payment to Motley's Auction & Realty Group on account #___________ up the the amount of $____________________.
ONSITE BUYER’S PREMIUM: A buyer’s premium will be charged for each lot purchased. 10% on the first $3500, and 1% thereafter per lot. $10 minimum buy fee. (unless otherwise announced)
INTERNET BUYER'S PREMIUM: A buyer's premium will be charged for each lot purchased. 13% on the first $3500, and 4% thereafter per lot. $10 minimum buy fee. (unless otherwise announced)
HANDLING FEE: A 3% handling fee is in effect. A discount of 3% will be applied for each account paid for by cash, cashier’s check, check with Bank Letter of Guarantee, or wire transfer.
